Privacy Policy — EICAS Ref

EICAS Ref is made by Michael Camacho ("I", "me"). This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app on iPhone, iPad or Mac.

1. No data collected

EICAS Ref does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party software development kits that collect data. The app does not send anything to any server, including any operated by me.

2. Your manuals stay on your device

The manuals you choose (FCOM, QRH, MEL, CDL / DDG) are read and processed entirely on your own device. The app keeps its index, your favorites, recent items and settings in its own storage on that device. None of it is uploaded, and I cannot see it. If the files come from your own cloud storage (for example iCloud Drive), they are handled by that service under its own terms, not by EICAS Ref.

3. Buying the app

EICAS Ref is bought through Apple's App Store, and the purchase is handled by Apple. I receive no payment card details and no personal information about you. Apple's privacy policy applies to the App Store: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

4. When you contact me

If you choose to email me (for example with "Report a problem"), I receive what you send: your email address and the message, including any details you add. I use it only to reply and to fix the problem, and I do not share it. You can ask me to delete it at any time.

5. Children

EICAS Ref is a reference tool for professional pilots and is not directed at children.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published in the app and at the same web address, with a new effective date.
